The Northfield Garden Club committees and individual members participate in many horticultural service projects that beautify Northfield's public areas. These include the downtown Bridge Square, the Pedestrian Bridge, the Pergola and raised gardens in Riverside Park, plantings along highway gateways to the city and gardens around the Northfield Public Library, Northfield Senior Center, the downtown Post Office and parks throughout the city. Many of these projects are funded by the Garden Club while others are funded in whole or in part by our partners: the City of Northfield, MNDOT, Northfield Area Foundation, and Northfield in Bloom. Some examples of these gardens and plantings are shown below. (Photos by Erika Tallman unless otherwise credited.)
